Connecting in a Changing World (Apr 2020)
Online group co-reflection sessions
QLEWN hosted on-line group co-reflection sessions via Zoom twice a week during April, recognising the importance of connecting the Lived Experience workforce in the changing COVID-19 pandemic environment. Feedback from participants of the online group co-reflection sessions indicated a strong desire for the continuance of co-reflective spaces (within and beyond the COVID-19 response). As such, monthly QLEWN Peer Workers Community of Practice (CoP) and QLEWN Peer Leaders and Peer Supervisors Community of Practice (CoP) groups were established. Please refer to current member events for details of these sessions.
Roundtable Submission to Productivity Commission
(Dec 2019) Response to the Mental Health Draft Report
The Roundtable submitted a collective response to the Productivity Commission Mental Health Draft Report, released in October 2019. The Roundtable response was predominantly focused on the sections of the Draft Report that addressed workforce development for the Lived Experience workforce.
Q-LEWN 2018 Survey (Nov 2018)
Online survey
Brook Red and Brisbane PHN North resourced the Roundtable to initiate the Queensland Lived Experience Workforce Network 2018 Survey to engage input from Lived Experience workers from across the state to inform establishing a peak body.
The online, anonymous survey was conducted using Survey Monkey and distributed electronically to Lived Experience workers through the formal and informal networks of Brook RED, Brisbane North PHN, and members of the Roundtable. 155 surveys were completed.
