PATHWAYS, CROSSROADS & SOLIDARITY

~ Beyond the Silos

A series for all of us that we continue to build together. Intersectionality is not a “theme “for IMPACT. It is the lens through which we examine lived and living realities, pathways, crossroads and fault lines across systems. In each monthly session, we use it to understand how power, policy and service design collide in people’s lives, and how those collisions shape who is supported, who is stuck, and who falls through the cracks.

Kimberle Cremshaw coined the term intersectionality in 1989. Here, she speaks about it in her own words.
