IMPACT Network Meeting. "Chaotic Crossroads"
Our next IMPACT Network Meeting dives into the chaotic crossroads of Domestic and Family Violence and the many systems it intersects with. DFV interacts with mental health, AOD, housing, justice, disability, child protection and community supports in complex and often contradictory ways, and workers across all sectors see the gaps, overlaps and unintended harms created when these systems fail to speak to each other.
This session focuses on how DFV is experienced through multiple identities and social locations, and how intersectionality shapes both risk and safety. We’ll explore what collaboration looks like in real practice, what happens when siloed responses collide, and how we can centre LLE expertise to build approaches grounded in autonomy, safety, and solidarity.
Guest speakers to be announced.
