IMPACT Network
The IMPACT Network is Queensland’s statewide home for the Lived–Living Experience (LLE) workforce.
We're a peer-led, cross-sector network that strengthens, connects, and elevates Queensland’s Lived–Living Experience (LLE) workforce across every region and sector.
IMPACT provides shared infrastructure, connection, capability, and collective direction. We offer a shared lens, a shared language, and a space for collective sensemaking led by Lived–Living Expertise.
Our work is grounded in an intersectional understanding of how systems shape people’s lives.
IMPACT does not replace existing initiatives or organisations and it's not another program — it’s the infrastructure supporting the whole LLE workforce.
Who IMPACT is for
IMPACT membership and inclusion has been shaped through initial co-design and ongoing co-development led by LLE workers. IMPACT welcomes people who work from consumer and carer LLE perspectives across any setting, including:
- identified and non‑identified roles
- paid and unpaid roles
- students and emerging workers
- job seekers and people moving into LLE roles
- volunteers, advocates, sector representatives, and allies who share IMPACT’s purpose and values.
Settings include (but are not limited to) mental health, AOD, suicide prevention, disability, housing and homelessness, family and domestic violence, justice, youth, eating disorders, health, First Nations led spaces, multicultural and settlement services, and community-based peer and relational roles.
If you work from LLE practice, you belong here because the workforce said so.

IMPACT's Vision
The IMPACT Network was built from the ground up by, with, and for LLE workers. A Strategic Working Group comprising
12 members from diverse LLE working backgrounds and localities in Queensland created IMPACT’s vision:
To cultivate a strong, inclusive and sustainable Queensland Lived and Living Experience workforce
that drives meaningful systems change across the IMPACT Network and its communities.
