IMPACT Network

IMPACT is Queensland’s statewide home for the Lived–Living Experience workforce.
It is a peer-led, relational, cross-sector network that brings coherence to a workforce that has long been fragmented, duplicated, and carried by a handful of exhausted champions.

We provide the connection, capability, and shared direction that support and uplift all other LLE initiatives, organisations, and reforms, enabling them to work more cohesively.

This is not another program. It is the infrastructure that supports the whole workforce.

IMPACT honours the experiences that have shaped many of us: distress, suicidality, alcohol and other drug use, trauma, poverty, homelessness, family and domestic violence, cultural disconnection, justice-system involvement, eating disorders, disability, etc, and the unique ways these experiences intersect in each person’s life.

We recognise the stigma, discrimination and forms of marginalisation that follow, and how they shape the ways people move through, and make meaning of the world.
